Memorization tips and tricks from toplawstudent.com
Toplawstudent blog offers a link to a list of memorization tips and tricks. Memorization like this is pretty crucial for closed book exams.
Through my many years in school, I have learned another great mnemonic technique along the way. To find out, see below...
My favorite and most successful mnemonic technique is to make up mnemonic phrases, like the acrostics/sentences the link mentions, that are as dirty as possible.
I use as many bad words, references to private parts, etc. as possible when I make my mnemonic devices. Sophomoric? No question. Effective? For me at least.
I would give an example but it would not be acceptable content for this blog. But use your imagination with the elements of negligence (Duty, Breach, Factual Causation, Proximate Causation, Damages). Just think of wholly inappropriate words that start with D.B.F.P.D. Extra memory points if you can form a coherent, dirty phrase or sentence.
It is unclear what preferring this technique says about me as a person.
